What Really Matters to Gen Z and Millennials

As an employer, you'll need to know what really matters to your current and prospective employees. Millennials and Gen Zs make up of the 40% of the current global workforce, and about 60% of the global, the majority of the workforce, by 2030. Understanding these two generations better will help you to better attract and retain talent as well as ensuring a healthier, happier and thus more productive workforce.

Deloitte’s Global 2023 Gen Z and Millennial Survey is based feedback from more

than 22,000 Gen Z and millennial respondents in 44 countries. The survey assesses their attitudes about work and the world around them. Key themes the survey explores include financial concerns, work/life balance, mental health, workplace harassment and climate action. Overall, responses reveal that the disruptive events of the last few years have impacted these two generations: while there are reasons for optimism, they have clear concerns about their futures.
